enjoying the process » loving the journey, not just the destination

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Valentine’s Day! My sweet husband set up a babysitter, took me out to lunch and then took me to the mall to buy me some new maternity clothes! While we were in Gap, the song "Cupid" came on… that’s "OUR SONG."  I couldn’t believe it! It was fate! It was meant to be! Now after 7- 1/2 years and 3, almost 4, children… I finally know it was meant to be! He really IS the love of my life!

That last part was a little joke- I’ve always known. But I DO love Valentine’s Day. and it was nice to hear our song 🙂

Can’t sleep- again. That’s right. 30 days from having this baby, can’t sleep, my feet are swollen and we STILL don’t have a name for him!  I don’t fight it anymore- I just get up and do something productive. Like right now. Can’t wait to print it out tomorrow & start a new 2008 Family Album. This little template will streamline my scrapbooking- since I have about 6 albums going and none of them are up to date. I plan to remedy that this year. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself. I think I’m forgetting a little something… maybe because he doesn’t have a name:) 
I think I’ll try to go to sleep now. Wish me luck. Or just pray for me. Thanks.

Warning! Major horn tootage ahead… 🙂 I’ve been working on a little project for the past 2 days that I am SO SO SO happy with!  It could quite possibly be the cutest project I’ve ever created. Not because of some amazing thing I’ve done, but mostly because of the cute papers and the amazing fonts available. There’s SO much eye candy out there in the scrapbooking world. It makes me really happy 🙂 Here’s a little sneak peek of the project- they are baby shower invitations for one of my dearest friends. Enjoy.

After a sad attempt on Saturday (they were sending everyone back home), we finally found snow on Monday afternoon! And we found A LOT of snow!
