So much time, So little to do..

Oh, how I wish! I feel frantic. All the time, I feel frantic. As if I have SO much on my plate and fewer hours in the day than the rest of the world. Hopefully it doesn’t show, but I’m sure it does.
So… I’ve been trying to work out a schedule. I LOVE schedules and plans, but it seems like I haven’t had a moment to sit and plan so I’ve been flying by the seat of my pants for the past 4 months. This is where you come in, my lovely blog stalkers (er, I mean, faithful blog readers:)  Can you email me or post a comment with your “weekly routines”? I need some ideas to jumpstart my planning/ scheduling and I LOVE to hear what other people do to manage their load. Thanks! **April- I have yours- thank you!!!
Now… on to some pictures.  I know I said I’m waiting until the kitchen is finished to post any photos, but I just can’t wait! We will be done this week, but our granite was installed on Friday and it has FAR exceeded my expectations- I LOVE it so much I want to marry it!  Here’s a little sneak peek for you.

It’s hard to tell from this photo, but this is granite! It has a “leathered” texture to it and it is totally Black- when I saw it in the granite yard, I KNEW I had to have it! It’s totally different than anything I’ve ever seen and, for those who know me well, that made it more appealing to me! I like to be unique.

And a little sampling of our new cabinets. I have to say, this has gone better than we could have imagined! It’s been a truly wonderful experience. We’re almost at the end of the remodel and I haven’t even started my “to do” list. I was supposed to have our rug cleaned, wash all of our couch cushions, hire a painter, deep clean all the rooms upstairs and shop for a few new things for the kitchen. I haven’t done ONE of those things! Yikes! Well, I guess I have 5 days left, right?

Jesus loves the little children….

And so do I. Just look at these BEAUTIFUL children. I have the honor of seeing them every week- sometimes several times a week. Our Bible Study really is a great example of “Shared Life” We get together sometimes 3 times a week or more! This past weekend Jason and Jeff came over to help James tear out our kitchen cabinets. That’s right! For those of you who know me well, I’ve been pleading for this kitchen for about 5 years now. It always seemed to be put on the back burner (no pun intended). But… we’ve finally started. I won’t post photos until it’s almost done. I’ll just post before and after for you so you can see what a big change it is. Well… on with the photos. Just a little sneak peek for Mary and Christine.

I love how you can see Jeff’s wedding ring in this shot. “he’s got the whole world in his hands…”
Can you tell we teach Sunday School?  🙂
