Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

I have been waiting to use that title for quite some time! Well the day has come, my friends! Not because I hit the jackpot, but because I have a yummy recipe to share. Well, Ina Garten has a recipe to share. Go HERE for a yummy Chicken Piccata dish- super easy and delicious!

Last night was the famous date at Largo (Colin Hay, remember?). Well, he did not disappoint! What a show- it was my idea of the perfect date. Well… our kids were sick so we had to skip out on dinner and just see the show, so I guess it would have been even MORE perfect if we could have gone HERE first. Regardless, the evening was memorable. The theater was small, intimate, "quaint," you might say- a throwback to my high-school auditorium. Old theater chairs upholstered in tweed (beautiful, vintage-y goodness)…a small stage just right for this show, an eclectic group of people. Do you remember the old MTV Unplugged sets they used to do (do they still do those? I haven't watched MTV in years! It's just nick jr. and noggin for me now).. well, anyway, that's what it brought to mind. We were in this great little theater with maybe 50 other people, listening to his smooth voice    (and I mean Sm-ooth!), enjoying a coffee and chocolate chip cookie-it was simply wonderful. That is my idea of a perfect date!

SO …. I can't wait to go back. Grant Lee Phillips will be there March 21st- anyone want to join us? It will not disappoint…well, unless you don't care for West Hollywood, or if you don't know who Grant Lee Phillips is..or if you are offended by the NUDE NUDE NUDE sign across the street.. We definitely want to take friends this time- so join us!

I'll post pix later, I haven't downloaded yet.

A new post. A new page. A fun date.

I have a million things I WANT to post, but only about 4 minutes of free time. I'm trying to "catch up" in Keagan's album- there are some major gaps that need to be filled. Here is a layout I worked on tonight. Tell me what you think. I *will* update my Project 365 album soon (it's done in reality, but not here in the blogosphere).
