#1 Dad

I know that’s what everybody says right before they hand their dad a tie, but in his case… it’s really true. He truly is The. Best. Dad. Ever.  I have never seen another man love his children as much as my husband LOVES ours.  He could be dead tired, but if one of our children asked him to play or jump on the trampoline or go on a bike ride- he’d jump at the chance! He always puts us first- always. I sure do like him a lot.

We took a little trip to Pasadena after church today to Numero Uno pizza (which we never found). Instead, we ended up at a nice little Mexican place- great food, great location, not at all crowded. Then we headed to Dots for some yummy cupcakes & to the park to eat said cupcakes. Then we got a $40 parking ticket. FYI- parking meters in Pasadena DO require change- even on a Sunday afternoon!

On a completely unrelated note, Kennedy is sitting beside me playing pbskids on James’ computer. This girl LOVES to sing so periodically I’ll hear sweet sing-songy words from her sweet little mouth like “Jesus…lamb of God”  or “apple of my island..”  and just now I heard this: “Jesus had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb…”  Have I mentioned how much I like her?

Hallie - What a great idea going to Pasadena…so fun. Just today the boys were watching Little Einsteins, and it was the one Kennedy used to sing. We all remarked how cute it was! Love ya!

Jason Worsley - I agree with you – you do have a great husband. He is an example to all of us dads.

Abby - Love the new blog-I’ve been getting ready to start my own and catch up to all the techies out there-but your bar is set really high-I’m a little intimidated.
