I may be a little partial since she’s my niece & all, but isn’t she BEAUTIFUL??????
Our library is having some awesome events this summer- including yesterday’s adventure: Reptiles!!! It was standing room only. I think most of the town was there. Thankfully, Canyon & Kennedy squeezed their way to the front so they could see. Cade sat in the back beside me- very cautious and playing it safe, that’s how he rolls. Kennedy kept coming back to me every 10 minutes with the saddest puppy dog eyes saying, “I keep sitting politely and raising my hand, but he won’t call on me.” It made me want to cry & beat up the reptile man a little. But, of course, I explained to her that there were about 50 other children who wanted a turn as well and, quite frankly, you can’t always get what you want. It was still sad.
Man, you are a posting machine right now!! I think that guy is coming to our library in a couple weeks. Gross!!! Also, cool.
I don’t like reptiles…I would be in the back too. 🙂 I would also punch that man’s lights out for not listening to my polite daughter! Well, maybe not! 🙂
One thing I LOVE about being pregnant is waking up early. God has graciously given me the ability to rise early (5am, sometimes earlier) without a struggle. My body just wakes up! That means I have 2 hours of quiet time in the morning before anyone else (besides James) is up. I read my Bible, I journal, sometimes I catch up on housework, I get ready for the day, I blog, I play with my photos in Photoshop. It’s really a HUGE blessing to me. Also a HUGE blessing to me… this little guy.
Love that “bridge”! Kiana still talks about that “bridge”. “Mommy, are we going there soon”?
