100% Baby Girl

We had a 3D/4D ultrasound this afternoon that confirmed we are DEFINITELY having a girl 🙂 YAY!  Unfortunately, baby girl did not want to hold still or move her hands away from her face. We were there for 30 minutes & I think she put her hands down twice. She kept kicking herself in the face, too!  The kids enjoyed the large screen display (and the LincolnLogs) and Keagan kept pointing at the screen saying, “what’s that?”  It was a good memory. .. if only I had brought my CF card along in my camera. I’m getting REALLY bad about that.

Mary - I love her already! My girls are thrilled too! Coley is so happy that Kennedy will get a bunk bed too. 🙂

Amber Hanshaw - Hooray! I bet Kennedy is so excited! Our little girl would not cooperate with face shots at all either…her legs were up in front of her face the whole time. Guess I’ll have to wait another 6 weeks to see her. 🙂

Abby - How Amazing. Anna is looking at the pictures with me and she asked where the baby’s foot is and when I said “I’m not sure” she said “silly, it’s in her belly”-duh mom. So excited for my new neice.

_MG_8482Do they know how to smile for the camera, or what?

_MG_8576This was a VERY fun bike ride through “Camp Rich,” as the locals call it. Keagan didn’t think it was very fun- he was having some issues that day:)

August 20, 2009 - 9:57 am

Sara - I love all the pictures. Glad you had a fun trip. I’ve always heard good things about Tahoe. I also love Kennedy’s polka-dot tank. I got the same one for Ava 🙂 Cute stuff.

August 20, 2009 - 10:27 am

Hallie - So, let me get this straight you just killed the trout, stuck it in the fridge and then thought…nah? Fish Killers. I think that’s why Keagan is so upset.

August 20, 2009 - 10:55 am

Shaycam - Caedmon’s Batman t-shirt…I’m totally in to it.

August 20, 2009 - 11:39 am

August 21, 2009 - 11:00 pm

We {heart} Tahoe.

We just spent an incredible week in South Lake Tahoe. Here are some of the things we did: reading (LOTS of it!), morning walks/ bike rides to Starbucks, activities & games at the activity center, swam at the pool, played in the Lake (well, the kids did – it was FREEZING!!), ate at Chevy’s- YUM!, ate at KFC- not so YUM, mountain biking (James & the boys, not me), James- mountain bike race, played with dog named Chewy & another dog named Lola, decided to name the baby Lola – it rolls right off the tongue- Lola Lycklama, see??,  bbq’d with the Hartungs, drank more Starbucks- marble mocha macchiatos, visited Emerald Bay, went fishing at a trout farm and Canyon caught a deformed fish- he was no charge, Kennedy caught the largest in our family, rode bikes at Camp Richardson, ate HUGE ice cream cones at the local ice cream parlor, played with wiki sticks, watched Firehouse Dog & Bolt, enjoyed the clean air… it was wonderful.
