enjoying the process » loving the journey, not just the destination

Proof.

Today, James is the teacher and I am the working girl.  He is staying home to teach the kids (it’s so cute) while I proof all the live-long day:)  Here’s one that caught my eye & I just HAD to post it right away!

Hallie - It’s perfect.

Whew…

I just finished my 8th session of the weekend & I’m planning on crawling into bed in about 3 minutes- just as soon as I post this one.  This is probably my FAVORITE family portrait to date. Although, to be fair, I haven’t really taken a good look at all the sessions from the weekend.  This one just caught my eye as I was downloading.  Happy Monday everyone!

It’s like they’re straight out of a magazine, don’t you think?  They’re all just gorgeous!  I am so thankful that I get to be a wife & mommy AND do something I love (taking photos) on the side.  What a blessing!!

Deborah - That’s the second cutest family in the whole world!!!! I love you guys!!!!!!

School is in Full Swing.

I love to dress this little girl. She has more shoes than I do. I’m pretty sure she has more outfits than I do, too.  I’ll justify it by reminding myself that we have another little girl on the way who will also benefit from all these cute clothes.  Let’s just hope the styles don’t change too too much in the next 5 years 🙂

back to schoolI will probably be out of commission for the next few weeks as I have 15 photo sessions to shoot & proof. If you need to reach me urgently, come to my house & bring me a Starbucks- then I will let you in. Grande Pumpkin Spice Latte. Thank you.

Anna - I love her socks!!! So cute 🙂

October 1, 2009 - 10:15 am

Sara - I love her socks!! I agree, it’s fun to dress girls. Don’t look at crewcuts, trust me, it’s not good for the pocketbook 😉 I wish I was one of the mini-sessions. And if I lived close I’d bring a pumpkin spice latte over because they are my favorite and I think everyone needs one of those (or cinnamon dolce, they aren’t so bad either :)).
