So… I’ve been wanting new curtains for about…..let’s say a year now. But the problem is.. I get an idea in my head (a vision, if you will) and I can’t let it go. So in my mind there are these imaginary curtains floating around that are very specific with a certain design (kinda like the one on the top of my blog). In my mind they are orange & white, BUT…… in REAL LIFE (that’s right! I found them!!!) they are yellow & white. And I can live with that! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!! Now- does anyone want to buy some stuff? because these babies are from Anthropologie & that means they’re a little out of the price range. 🙂 But aren’t they pretty?
What ever happened to that nickname? He sure is cute. I got to see him Thursday night AND I get to see him again on Monday!
Look at that muffin head!! Chasers Wasers has always been my favorite name too!! Time to change the birth certificate.
You coined it & it stuck (with me, at least) 😉
He sure is cute! Looks like his mommy!
AND you suck, but let’s be friendly anyway.
WHAT! Where have I been? My hand is on your blog! I am so famous! Oh, and my baby is K-UTE!!
One more thing…this is how I prefer to have my picture taken, hand only please!
“There are some days when no matter what I say it feels like I’m far away in some other country and whoever is doing the translating has had FAR too much to drink.”
I can’t remember where I first read that quote, but it is definitely true today. I need to go back to bed and wake up tomorrow. 🙁
Sad you had a long day. I’ve been there far too many times. Just prayed for a better tomorrow. Wish I could have brought you that iced coffee. Maybe when I am closer. 🙂
No comprendo.
From the book I’m about to order and read…
“When we examine our lives closely, it becomes clear that our problem is not our schedules. It is not that God has put more on our plates than we can possibly accomplish in seven, twenty-four hour days. Our problem is our fickle hearts that wander away from the ONE central romance and SO easily give our affection to another. The Bible calls this, “love of the world.” And the Bible tells us that if we love the world, the love of the Father is not in us. James says we get angry with one another because we are spiritual adulterers, and the person next to us gets in the way of what we love. The world is so attractive to our eyes and so seductive to our hearts. The Creation can seem so much more real than the Creator.”
Sound convicting? Want to read it with me?
Yes and No. What is the book?
There’s a short video on his website.. it’s awesome.
Also sounds like a book I need to read, but I think I might wait until the post partum depression passes after this baby is born!
Yes—I would LOVE to. I actually have this book on my little “wish list”….! 🙂 Don’t know when I’ll start reading it. I need to finish about 4 other books I’ve started and have NOT completed. I have a BAD habit doing that. No good!

Catherine - Gorgeous! Sadly, I also end every curtain hunt at Anthropologie, sighing wistfully, and imagining every beautiful possibility. Time for a yard sale?
emily - I’m listing things on craigslist as we speak , er.. as I type.
Dena - check out the curtains here… I have had my eye on this shop for a while..

Sara - oh good grief, i shouldn’t have looked at this right now. I NEED these. In my bedroom. Now. I have $30 left on an Anthro gift card, will that cover it??
emily - If you want just a fabric sample, $30 might cover it ♥
