I'm lost without him. When he's not here, I'm not myself. He puts us first- always. In all of our married life, I can't think of one time he's put himself or his needs/wants above mine. He lives with me in an understanding manner. He always listens when I want to talk (and sometimes that's A LOT). He listens and he wants to fix it- he wants me to be happy. He is the nicest person I know. He brings me an ice water and my vitamin every night before bed. He brings me Starbucks, he surprises me with flowers, he sends me packages (sometimes little blue boxes), he writes me notes, he tells me I'm beautiful, he gives me time alone, he likes my cooking, he appreciates all I do in our home and our business, he compliments me, he would never do anything to hurt me, he loves me.
He loves our children. He Plays with our children. He pays extra attention to them. He's not tired when he comes home- he's FULL of energy and jumps and runs and tackles and tickles and PLAYS with our kids. My children ADORE him because he truly loves them and enjoys them. The sound of their giggles when he is around is contagious- you can't help but laugh along with them.
He loves the Lord. He's not a pastor. He has no desire to teach God's word- he's not a teacher. He is a doer. If the Bible says it, he will do it. If the Bible says not to, he won't. When the Bible says "Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her" – well, that's what he does. When the Bible says, "Fathers, do not exasperate (or provoke your children to anger), but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" – that's what he does. He is Amazing.
He is black and white. He is disciplined. He is so handsome. He has integrity. He works hard. He is generous. He likes to help people in need. He is steadfast. He is a Rock. He is trustworthy. He is confident. He is good at everything he does.
Oh, and he likes math:) Which makes him a little nerdy. And I'm not gonna lie to you- I like nerds.
Note about the photo: Doesn't Keagan look like he's saying, "don't mess with my dad or I'll punch you in the face?"
