There are a few things I want to remember & One thing I want to share.
One thing I want to remember is this: Keagan is at THE BEST stage right now. I know I’ve talked a lot about his “whiny-ness” and called him “sir whines-a-lot” and all… but he’s grown out of it. There is no more whining (well, very little) and he is a JOY and a DELIGHT to my heart. I like him so much it literally pulls at my heart – now I know why they say “heartstrings” and Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester refer to it.. you can literally FEEL the pull.
One thing he says that I just HAVE to document is this: If he asks for something & we say “no,” he’ll tilt his head to the side and say, “maybe later?” And we’ll say “no” and he’ll say, “tonight?” and we’ll say “no” and he’ll say, “maybe to-mario?”(meaning:tomorrow). It is the most adorable thing & I need to get it on video. Printed words just don’t do it justice. I love this boy.
Every morning around 10am, Miss Emily comes to take Keagan on a walk. We love Miss Emily (Keagan calls her Emmy). She takes him around the neighborhood and as soon as they come back he RUNS to me & says, “Mommy! Mommy! You!” Meaning “for you.” and he hands me all the treasures he’s found on his little walk. Usually consisting of a flower, some leaves and a few rocks or sticks. I love them all.
And the one thing I want to share is this: PROJECT LIFE if Fun. We had a GREAT turn-out! Thanks girls for joining me. I’ll set it up again for February and MAYBE my floors will be fixed?
