This is my attempt to "catch up" … my computer has been a little under the weather, but thanks to the computer guru, Mr. Gutman- all is well in my household again!
This messed up economy has hit our household, but what do we do when times are tough? We go on field trips.. and vacations.. and basically run far, far away. Okay, that's not true, we know that God is in control, so we don't stress. We pray and we have family fun together.
We took a little trip to Pasadena, complete with a train ride to Downtown L.A. (Olivera St.) The kids LOVED it and thoroughly enjoyed spending their $2.00, like they were buying gold (or potatoes, if you're me). April let us borrow this handy backpack for Keagan & we are going to steal it now (just a little joke 🙂 We'll give it back)
Does anybody else's daughter Always stick her hand out of the frame? I should do a post someday of ALL the photos I have where she's sticking her arm out of the shot- doesn't she realize I'm taking a photo?
Canyon really wanted to buy an umbrella, but they were a little girly… he chose a laser pointer that didn't actually work 🙁 sad.
Crazy kids. They get this from James, I'm sure of it.
Enjoying her own seat on the Metrolink.
They all enjoyed their Dots cupcakes (cutest little bakery in all the land) as I drooled..
Then we went on a family bike ride (not on the same day) and I pulled these 2 behind my bike. That was not easy! I do not care for exercise, in case you didn't know.
Then we went to the park. That's Aunt Hallie eating his delicious face.
And..looking to Uncle Danny for knowledge & wisdom. I love the way he's looking at Danny in this photo.
And last, but certainly not least… just look at this cutie McFruity…Love that face.
He said to me as he was holding the football that day, "I'm really good at this. I know how to throw"
So confident. So sweet. He didn't even miss a beat. I didn't mean for that last part to rhyme.
Time for bed.
